Local News in Brief : Suspect Arrested in N. Hollywood Attacks

A suspect in a series of rapes and robberies that took place in underground parking garages in the North Hollywood area has been arrested, authorities said.
Henry Wilds, 31, of North Hollywood was arrested Thursday on a parole violation charge after a 28-year-old woman said Wilds followed her into an underground parking lot in the 11400 block of Burbank Boulevard on his bicycle. She was not attacked.
The woman’s description of Wilds matched that of a man responsible for at least six rapes and related robberies in the area since December, Detective Louis Berman said.
Wilds is being held without bail at Los Angeles County Jail.
