A Bay Area federal judge Wednesday dismissed a $10-million discrimination suit filed against San Francisco radio station KGO by black talk-show host Noah Griffin. Griffin, 41, left KGO in January, 1985, after four years as host of a talk show from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. He claimed discrimination in being passed over in November, 1984, for a promotion to the 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. weekday time slot in favor of a white man. Griffin said he probably can’t afford to appeal the ruling but intends to contact civil-rights groups to pursue the issue “in the court of public opinion.”
