Luaus in Honolulu

A recent article in your section gave a listing of various commercial luaus available in Hawaii. I would like to suggest that for a much more authentic and interesting experience travelers should scan the Honolulu newspapers for notices of luaus put on by churches and community organizations. You may not get all of the hoopla, but you will get authentic food, with the plus of a chance to talk to residents.
