Second of Las Vegas Quintuplets Dies

LAS VEGAS — The tiniest of the Jenkins quintuplets died in her mother’s arms Friday after doctors had problems sustaining a heartbeat in the critically ill infant.
The quints were born March 2, about 10 weeks prematurely. One of the babies, Kelly Nicole, died March 3. She suffered heart and lung problems.
Johnson said the three surviving quintuplets are in stable and satisfactory condition at the hospital’s neonatal unit.
