A Panorama City man was found shot to death Wednesday in a vacant lot in Pacoima, and a friend with whom he had allegedly quarreled was arrested, authorities said.
John Arthur Medrano Mandivil, 43, died from multiple gunshot wounds in the upper torso, according to police.
His body was found in a vacant lot at the end of a cul-de-sac in the 13800 block of Louvre Street at about 6:55 p.m. by investigators acting on a tip from an anonymous caller, Lt. Bernard Conine said.
