Citibank will acquire a foreign operation of B of A.

The San Francisco-based subsidiary of BankAmerica agreed to sell its East Asia Bank Card operation in Hong Kong to Citicorp’s Citibank unit, the two banks announced. The sale of the credit card-issuing unit for about $15 million U.S. is expected to close in June.
