Actor Eddie Murphy is scheduled to be at Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood at 2 p.m. today as the 171st celebrity to press the cement of the theater’s landmark courtyard--and the first since Clint Eastwood in October, 1984. Murphy’s imprinting precedes the May 20 release of Paramount’s “Beverly Hills Cop II,” in which he reprises his role as Detroit Detective Axel Foley. About 5,000 people are expected to attend the ceremony.
