Canyon High will be one of four schools participating in the Interschool Fencing Championship tournament on Sunday at the Westside Fencing Center in Culver City at 10 a.m.
The event was originally scheduled for Garfield High.
Canyon, Garfield, Nogales and the L.A. Center for Enriched Studies inaugurated fencing programs this year after receiving grants from the Amateur Athletic Foundation of Los Angeles funded by profits from the 1984 Olympic Games. The competition is administered by the Salle Gascon Fencing Club.
