Esperanza Loses but Remains No. 1

Esperanza High School remained the top team in the final Orange County Sports Writers Assn. baseball poll, despite being upset by Kennedy, 4-3, Friday. Esperanza enters the Southern Section playoffs Friday as the defending 4-A champion and is the No. 1 seeded team in the 4-A division. The Aztecs will play host to Riverside Poly at 3:15 p.m.
