The continuing controversy surrounding the world tour of the brat-rap group the Beastie Boys took a nasty turn in Liverpool, England, Saturday night. Band member Adam Horovitz was arrested and five people were injured when, 10 minutes into the group’s show at the Royal Court Theater, thrown objects began pelting the three-man outfit. Witnesses said canisters filled with tear gas were thrown at the crowd five minutes later, causing a stampede. Police were pelted with beer cans and bottles outside the theater while the band was whisked away in a bus.
