Cypress : Auxiliary Gives $6,500 for Nursing Scholarships

A $6,500 endowment for nursing scholarships has been established at Cypress College by the Fullerton Community Hospital Auxiliary.
Disbanding because of the closing of Fullerton Community Hospital, the auxiliary voted to give its remaining funds in a lump sum to the Cypress College Nursing Program. The endowment will be used to provide a yearly scholarship.
The auxiliary has been supporting the nursing programs at Fullerton and Cypress colleges for 25 years and has presented about $20,000 in scholarships to nursing students. During Cypress College’s recent scholarship awards ceremony, officers of the auxiliary were presented with the College President’s Award in gratitude for their many years of support.
