Baby boomers have taken to baby grands in a big way, according to the American Music Conference. Last year half the $620 million in piano sales came from baby grands, up 10% from 1985, USA Today reported Monday. “The same boomers who are buying Mercedes are buying Steinways,” says Steve Likens, L.A. piano salesman.
