Florida House Passses Bill to Allow Alligator Hunting

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The state House has approved a bill to allow alligators, once an endangered species, to be hunted. The Florida Game and Fresh Water Fish Commission supports the bill, which was approved Tuesday and now goes to the Senate, because the alligator population has grown to an estimated 1 million under several decades of protection.
