Countywide : Conference to Address Transportation Issues

Southern California’s transportation problems and their impact on the region’s economy will be discussed, along with proposed solutions, at a daylong conference sponsored by Rep. Robert E. Badham (R-Newport Beach).
Scheduled for June 22 at the Westin South Coast Plaza hotel in Costa Mesa, the conference will feature speakers from industry and government. Speakers will include Irvine Co. Vice Chairman Thomas H. Nielsen, Rep. Glenn Anderson (D-Long Beach), Assistant U. S. Secretary of Transportation Janet Hale, Caltrans Deputy Director Carolyn Ewing and Orange County Transportation Commission Executive Director Stan Oftelie.
