I would like to applaud and commend Jerry Hulse for that wonderful spread May 31 on travels for the bicycling public. That story does more for bicycling than all the bike magazines can generate, since your readership is so varied and so great. As the dean of bike tour leaders I am just a bit put out that he did not include me in the article. However, he was kind enough to feature me in his Travel Tips several times, for which I am eternally grateful. The only reason I bring it up is because so many of my tour members called as to why I was not on the list as printed in the article.
At any rate, I thank Jerry for his appreciation of this great recreational activity called bicycling.
