Fluor Subsidiaries Hold Construction Contracts

Fluor Corp., the Irvine-based engineering company, said its Fluor Daniel subsidiary has signed a $50-million contract to build a gold ore processing facility for Ridgeway Mining Co. of South Carolina, a subsidiary of Amselco Minerals Inc. of New York.
Separately, the company said its Applied Engineering Co. subsidiary is building an addition to General Electric’s Silicone Products division in Waterford, N.Y. Fluor would not disclose the value of the General Electric contract.
