Union Federal Will Occupy Brea Building
Construction is under way in Brea on a 42,000-square-foot office building, the first phase of a $5.5-million project that will be occupied by administrative departments of the Los Angeles-based Union Federal Savings & Loan Assn.
More than 200 employees from several presently decentralized Union Federal departments will move to the new location--a 4.2-acre site at 330 E. Lambert Road, just west of the Orange (57) Freeway, during the first quarter of 1988.
The first-phase building was designed by McLean & Schultz, Fullerton architects and engineers. The institution’s headquarters remain at 523 West 6th St., with 17 branch offices in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties.
