Development in San Clemente

I am totally against the Lusk Co.’s Marblehead plan to develop a huge area of San Clemente and thereby double the population. We have voted to allow only 500 units to be built in San Clemente per year.
The Marblehead plan includes the proposed Nixon Library, placing it on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific. I feel there should be a park put along the cliffs for the people of generations to come.
To put in the Nixon Library, the residents of San Clemente are expected to foot the bill to the tune of $30 million.
If Whittier College doesn’t want the Nixon Library, why should we have it take up very special space in San Clemente?
