Edward B. Huntington, a San Diego lawyer with a varied one-man practice, will be the next president of the San Diego County Bar Assn.
Huntington--who specializes in family, business and tax law--won the one-year term by defeating Cheryl Ruffier in a runoff vote Tuesday by the group’s 15-member board of directors.
Huntington will take charge of the 5,000-member association in December, replacing physician-lawyer Daniel Broderick III.
