Westwood : Health Center to Break Ground

Ground breaking is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. today for the $175-million UCLA Ambulatory Care Complex, which will include the first private medical office building constructed on a University of California campus.
A private company, Held/Jones, will finance, construct and manage the office building, which will be one of four structures in the new complex. The site is at Westwood and Le Conte avenues.
The facility will include an outpatient building, mental health center and a 2,900-space parking structure.
