Only 441 of 3,329 Time magazine covers since 1923 have featured women, two Trinity University researchers in San Antonio, Tex., say in a study released this week. About 273 (62%) of the covers featured women entertainers while 35 (8%) of the covers were graced by women political leaders. One woman from science and three from business made the cover. One percent were religious leaders, 1.5% government officials and 4.5% sports figures.
