Rotary International to Vote on Admitting Women

NEW YORK — Rotary International will vote in January, 1989, on a proposal to admit women members worldwide, its president said Thursday. Under the service organization’s constitution, the 1989 World Council meeting in Singapore will be the first time such a proposal can be considered.
