A 2-year-old suit filed by two dancers who posed almost 10 years ago for a series of popular dance posters was settled Wednesday, but not before one of the dancers died of AIDS, an attorney for the pair said. Jonette Swider, 29, and Bruce Wurl, who died at 30 three months ago of pneumonia as a complication of AIDS will jointly receive $35,000, attorney Sheldon Bardach said. Wurl’s mother, Joy Wurl of Long Beach, will be the recipient of his share. The settlement of the case--which received national media attention when filed two years ago--was reached in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles.
