Hilton Hotels recorded 15% increases in both revenue and income for the second quarter. The Beverly Hills-based company said income from hotels was 8% higher and income from gaming operations was 42% higher. Hotel operations are seeing the initial returns of a $1-billion renovation program at major properties and benefiting from new marketing programs, the company said. For the quarter, both the hotel occupancy rate and Nevada gaming occupancy increased by 1%.
