Burbank police arrested two 16-year-old boys on suspicion of assault for allegedly beating two homeless men in a city park. Lt. Duane Dow said at least 10 bystanders witnessed the attacks in McCambridge Park. He said the boys first approached a 32-year-old man in the south end of the park, then attacked a second man, 45, in the north. Dow said he had no idea of the motive. The names of the boys, both of Burbank, and the transients, both of whom were hospitalized in critical condition, were not disclosed.
