Yoshikawa Scores Win in Women’s Golf

CHICHIBU, Japan — Nayoko Yoshikawa, who led throughout, won the Stanley women’s pro golf tournament by two strokes Sunday, scoring her second victory of this month and third this season.
Yoshikawa, 38, had a final round of 73 and a 208 total, 8-under par over the 6,198-yard, par-72 Kosaido Saitama Golf Club.
Yoshikawa’s 22nd triumph of her career was worth $27,700, raising her total earnings this season to $197,300, second best on the JLPGA money-winning list.
Two shots behind was Fukumi Tani, who shot a 70 Sunday and earned $13,300 for second place.
Yukiko Toriyama was alone in third place at 212. She also fired a 70.
