Trevor Berbick Stops Art Terry in the Fifth

FORT MYERS, Fla. — Heavyweight Trevor Berbick, who lost to Mike Tyson, the World Boxing Council and World Boxing Assn. champion, his last time out, stopped Art Terry at 1:33 of the fifth round of their scheduled 10-round fight Friday night.
Berbick, of Miramar, Fla., improved his record to 32-5-1. Terry, of Salem, W.Va., dropped to 5-5-1.
In other fights on the card, Mark Holmes scored a unanimous decision over Derrick Earvin in an eight-round super-middleweight bout. Holmes, the younger brother of former heavyweight champion Larry Holmes, is 37-1 while Earvin dropped to 15-9.
Tyrone Frazier, a nephew of former heavyweight champion Joe Frazier, scored a ninth-round knockout of Kenny Styles in a middleweight bout. Frazier is 15-0.
