Marriott Acquires Property for Hotel

Marriott Corp. has purchased 3.74 acres in Park Del Amo, Torrance, for a $10-million, 149-room Courtyard hotel, according to Transpacific Development Co., which is developing the 184-acre office park.
Ground breaking for the hotel is scheduled for September, with completion set for July.
