CalComp Merges Sales, Service, Marketing Units

CalComp, a unit of Lockheed Corp., said it has merged its national and international sales, service and marketing functions into a single, worldwide organization with five regions.

“The restructuring will simplify and streamline operations to accommodate faster growth, improve execution of marketing strategies and programs, increase responsiveness to market opportunities and strengthen customer support, said William P. Conlin, president of Anaheim-based CalComp.

The company manufactures and distributes computer-graphics products and is a part of the information systems group of Lockheed, which reported sales of $10.3 billion last year. Lockheed, a defense contractor based in Calabasas, Los Angeles County, doesn’t release sales figures by division.
