Ford Recalls 11,600 Cars Over Fuel Leak Problem

DEARBORN, Mich. — More than 11,600 Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Lincoln town cars are being recalled by Ford Motor Co. to repair a fuel injection problem that could cause fuel leaks and engine fires.
Ford executives said Thursday that the vehicles are equipped with 5-liter electronic fuel injected engines. The Victoria and Marquis cars being recalled are 1987 models and the Lincolns are 1988 models.
