What Is the Best?

It is difficult to compare high grades in high school No. 1 to high grades in high school No. 2. On the other hand, the SAT scores, while equivalent for all students, only measure what a student does for six hours while sitting in one seat. In my opinion, admissions offices should place a great deal more emphasis on the cumulative record compiled over four years of scholarship, rather than the output of one Saturday. I think they use the SAT scores as a cop-out because they are not willing to invest the effort to get to know high school (curriculums) and which are more rigorous.
