Car Hits Five Pedestrians on Times Square Sidewalk

NEW YORK — A Cadillac careened onto a Times Square sidewalk, hitting at least five pedestrians and injuring one seriously enough to require hospitalization, police said. The 18-year-old driver, Michael Reusch of Queens, was charged with reckless endangerment and assault in the incident Saturday. Police said Reusch contended that the car’s brakes had failed.
