Airline Lists 9 Employees Killed in Crash

EAGAN, Minn. — Northwest Airlines today released the names of nine Northwest employees who died aboard a jet that crashed Sunday night after takeoff from Detroit’s airport.
The airline said the passenger list will be released later by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Three of the Northwest employees were off-duty and riding as passengers, the airline said.
The employees killed in the crash were:
Capt. John R. Maus, 57, Las Vegas.
First Officer David J. Dodds, 35, Galena, Ill.
Flight attendant Michael L. Kahle, 34, LeSueur, Minn.
Flight attendant Roberta E. Rademacher, 35, Eagan, Minn.
Flight attendant Bruce R. Elfering, 23, Eagan, Minn.
Flight attendant Pamela D. Sparks-Shaffer, Chandler, Ariz.
Capt. Melvin C. Roundy, 53, Mesa, Ariz., off duty.
Capt. Jerome D. Cook, 48, Phoenix, off duty.
Flight attendant Suzanne Morris, 35, Federal Way, Wash., off duty.
