A single-engine airplane nosed over after making an emergency landing in a field close to California 99 near the city of Madera, in Madera County. Sheriff’s deputies said pilot Christopher Wiegman of Sacramento was uninjured, and damage to the Cessna 152 he had rented in Sacramento for a flight to Bakersfield was minimal.
