A Southern California Rapid Transit District bus was found abandoned in the Hollywood area, about two miles from where someone stole it while the driver was on a layover. Police said the unidentified driver was out of the bus at 7th Street and New Hampshire Avenue on Sunday evening when it disappeared. A passer-by saw it parked at 6:45 a.m. at Sunset Boulevard and Kenmore Avenue. There was no apparent damage to the bus. No one was under arrest.
