Chain to Build Largest Store in San Francisco

A five-level, 328,195-square-foot Nordstrom department store, the largest in the chain, will be part of the $86-million San Francisco Centre, a 10-story downtown retail complex under construction.
The centre is a development of Fifth and Market Associates Ltd., whose general partner is the Gordon Co. of Los Angeles.
When completed, the project will contain a total of 571,169 square feet of retail space. Sonnenblick-Goldman Corp., New York, arranged the financing.
