Student Wins $10,000 Prize for Realty Essay

W. Tod McGrath, a student at the MIT Center for Real Estate Development, has won the $10,000 first prize in an annual real estate essay contest sponsored by the Shidler Group, a Los Angeles-based architectural firm.
McGrath’s essay, which concerned so-called wraparound leases, was chosen the best of 93 entries.
