Seoul Slates September Shopping Spree in U.S.

SEOUL, South Korea — A South Korean buying mission is to leave for the United States next month on a 15-day shopping spree to disarm mounting American protectionist sentiment, Seoul Trade Ministry officials said today.
The 20-member delegation hopes to negotiate purchases worth $400 million of U.S. machinery and parts including motors, oil pumps and bearings, they said.
