3 Charities to Benefit from All-Star Game

NEW YORK — An all-star basketball game featuring NBA players will be held Sept. 19 in Fort Worth to benefit three charities.
Benefits will go to the United Negro College Fund, the Women’s Sports Foundation and the Martina Youth Foundation, an organization founded by tennis star Martina Navratilova.
NBA players scheduled to participate in the game include Mark Aguirre of Dallas, John Lucas of Milwaukee, Manute Bol of Washington, Spud Webb of Atlanta Karl Malone of Utah and Gerald Wilkins of the New York Knicks.
