Hernandez Leads USIU to a 3-1 Soccer Victory

SAN DIEGO — Midfielder Hector Hernandez had two goals and Jon Sissons had two assists to lead the United States International University soccer team to a 3-1 nonconference season-opening victory over Fresno Pacific College Saturday at USIU.
Cem Er, playing in his first game since he suffered a small tear in his heart in a collision with an opponent last season, also scored for the Gulls.
