Progress Is Not a Dirty Word

In his letter (Glendale section, Sept. 3), Ted Brown accuses Glendale’s Redevelopment Agency of “having no respect for the rights of property owners.”
Of course, progress is a dirty word to some of the people who have been forced to relocate before the termites completely wrecked their living quarters.
But progress is a part of life. It’s a necessity to prevent a city from stagnating. Progress has changed the City of Glendale from a “one-horse town” to a great financial center and a fine city to reside in.
