David Johnson has been appointed chairman, president and chief executive of Gerber Products Co. Johnson was formerly president and chief executive of Entenmann’s Inc. He succeeds Leo Goulet, who died July 5, as president and chief executive, and William McKinley, who stepped down in May, as chairman of the Fremont, Mich., baby food maker.
Johnson, 55, will assume his new job by Oct. 19, Gerber said.
