Joseph F. Swyt, citing family reasons, resigned as president and chief operating officer of Sierracin Corp., a Sylmar-based maker of aerospace products. He was succeeded by Sierracin Chairman Christoph Tribull. Swyt, 48, joined the company in June, 1985, and was named president in May, 1986.
Sierracin has been the target of stockholder suits alleging management fraud, among other charges. The suits were mostly directed at Tribull, who has denied any wrongdoing, and did not name Swyt, a company official said.
