Handling of DeCinces Was the Ugliest of All
- Share via
Doug DeCinces says that there was a lot of stress and pressure to perform so that he can get a contract for another year. He does not know what stress and pressure are. He made in one year as much as a working person makes in a lifetime. Stress and pressure are when you worry about your job, because if you get fired you don’t know how you will pay for the food the next week.
Did he want the Angels to buy him out in a week and give him a present of $141,667 after a bad season? What do all these prima donnas want, a going-away party? Basically, Doug DeCinces was fired for non-performance.
