Cal State L.A. Shutdown Is Extended to Thursday

California State University, Los Angeles, which had said it would reopen Monday, reported Saturday that classes will not resume until Thursday.
The university’s 22,000 students and the 400 students of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts will not be allowed on campus unless they are part of earthquake cleanup crews.
