A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed at 4 a.m. Sunday when he attempted to cross northbound Interstate 805 just south of San Ysidro Boulevard, California Highway Patrol Officer Richard Clopine said. Abraham Resendiz, 23, of Watsonville was pronounced dead at the scene after he tried to cross two lanes of traffic from the center divider, Clopine said. The driver, Albert Ledon, was not cited.
