Macmillan Healthcare Information has acquired Santa Monica-based Brentwood Publishing from Simon & Schuster, Inc., a Gulf & Western company. Brentwood publishes 12 trade magazines dealing with the medical, health and business management fields, including Applied Radiology, RX Home Care and Sales Motivation. Macmillan Inc. plans to consolidate all of its health care information businesses, including Biomedical Business International and Macmillan Professional Journals, at the Santa Monica facility.
