Velasquez Wins on Technical Knockout in Four

Rico Velasquez of San Gabriel stopped Chil-Sung Chun of South Korea on a technical knockout at the end of the fourth round in a lightweight bout Thursday night at the Sports Arena.
Peppering his opponent with right hands, Velasquez,135, closed the left eye of Chun, 137, and Dr. Bernhard Schwartz halted the fight. Velasquez improved his record to 14-4.
