A 27-year-old man was found dead early Friday morning after his pickup truck crashed on northbound California 67 south of Woodside Avenue, CHP Officer Steve Lykins said.
The truck was traveling at a high rate of speed and missed a curve in the road, Lykins said. It crossed the northbound traffic lanes and tumbled down a steep embankment before coming to rest against a chain link fence, Lykins said.
The victim was identified as David Leon Busch of Poway.
