Were These Guys Once Our Boyhood Heroes?

I wonder if Todd Christensen ever met a microphone he didn’t like. Hardly a sportscast or NFL strike update goes by without seeing the Raiders’ self-appointed intellect espousing his microthoughts on the disadvantaged chattel playing professional football.
What’s really laughable is listening to him berate the ownership of the NFL as well as the free agents that are trying to take his place. He forgets that when he came into the league, he couldn’t make the roster of the Dallas Cowboys and ditto the New York Giants. Now that he is making megabucks, perhaps he has forgotten what it is like to have a dream to play professional football.
